btw 'escape2ny music festival' this weekend was very nice time spent. patty smith and edward sharpe. so strange being in my town at a small music festival. i was like i know you, then omg youre strange and gorgeous. over and over.
us locals got tix for free, caught a ride in a stretch escalade, absolutely rock and roll danced to patty and her band, then my band brought our drums into the afterparty and took over for a few mins :) and then today i layed in the grass and connected w the earth, then got an amazing group hug from an 8 and a 5 year old, then was given an apple, a carrot, an orange and half a bottle of jameson. and shook hands w alexander the lead singer. nice people, good crowd...
