it doesn't interest me what you do for a living.

i want to know what you ache for, and if you dare to dream of meeting your hearts longing. it doesn't interest me how old you are. i want to know if you will risk looking like a fool for love, for your dream, for the adventure of being alive. it doesn't interest me what planets are squaring your moon. i want to know if you have touched the center of your own sorrow, if you have been opened by life's betrayals or have become shriveled and closed from fear of further pain. i want to know if you can sit with pain, mine or your own, without moving to hide it or fade it or fix it. i want to know if you can be with joy, mine or your own, if you can dance with wildness and let the ecstasy fill you to the tips of your fingers and toes without cautioning us to be careful, to be realistic, to remember the limitations of being human. it doesn't interest me if the story you are saying is true. i want to know if you can disappoint another to be true to yourself; if you can bear the accusation of betrayal and not betray your own soul; if you can be faithless and therefore trustworthy. i want to know if you can see beauty, even when its not pretty, every day, and if you can source your own life from its presence. i want to know if you can live with failure, yours and mine, and still stand on the edge of the lake and shout to the silver of the full moon, "Yes!" it doesn't interest me to know where you live or how much money you have. i want to know if you can get up, after the night of grief and despair, weary and bruised to the bone, and do what needs to be done to feed the children. it doesn't interest me who you know or how you came to be here. i want to know if you will stand in the fire with me and not shrink back. it doesn't interest me where or what or with whom you have studied. i want to know what sustains you, from the inside, when all else falls away. i want to know if you can be alone with yourself and truly like the company you keep in the empty moments.

'Babycakes' Hostess Cupcake Recipe for Rossana

Happy Wonderous Silly Sweet Warmhearted Snuggly Birthday Justina!

1 cup brown rice flour
1 cup garbanzo bean flour
1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 cup potato starch
1/4 cup arrowroot
1 tbls baking powder
3/4 tspn baking soda
3/4 tspn xanthan gum
2 tspn salt
1 cup coconut oil
1 1/2 cup agave nectar
1 cup unsweetened apple sauce
1 tbls vanilla extract
1 cup hot water

Preheat oven to 325*F and line 2 12 cup cupcake tins with liners.
In a medium bowl, whisk together all the dry stuff and in another bowl mix the rest. Add them together till you have a thick batter.
Pour 1/3 cup batter into each prepared cup, almost filling it. Bake the cupcakes on the center rack for 24 minutes, rotating the tins 180* after 14 minutes. The finished cupcakes will bounce when pressure is applied gently to the center, and a toothpick inserted in the center will come out clean.
Let the cupcakes stand for 20 minutes, then transfer them to a rack to cool completely.
Frost to your liking, I have a recipe in the works but have not managed to harness its power properly as of yet... :)

so... i had a 6' tall male potted plant in my front yard. i thought it was pretty and smelled nice. but it hung on my conscience for this reason: its beauty wasnt worth its life! i brought the topic up with my music family at a restaurant. the touchy topic produced a loud passionate argument discussing if the male potted plant would pollenate other peoples female plants that were lovingly raised and tended to... since the chances were high and my fam thought i was evil to even be in the situation in the first place, i killed it. and made tea.
